Meta Post

This week’s article went over Megan Hunter and the idea of Cli-fi, and the earth’s natural and man-made climate change that influences it. It seems like as a class, we want to know this question of why there aren’t more writers doing research and writing about this topic. We as a collective seem to figure that we need to write more stories about the topic, but it can’t feel just completely political.
There’s also this really interesting this concept of humans being a part of the earth or not, like what if humans weren’t on earth before or after right now? How would the earth be; better or worst?
This is a link to a fun, interactive Q and A that the New York Times did about the subject of climate change and might help be a jumping off point for a Cli-Fi essay.
